Most accommodation is remarkably
inexpensive too! As a rule of thumb,
rooms in our lovely old hotels range between $22 to $35 per night; most rooms
in our motels are around $55 to $70 a night; and other forms of accommodation
tend to fall either between or above these amounts.
You'll also be pleased to hear that our accommodation operators
don't raise prices just because the Peanut Festival is on -
but it would be a good idea to book early! You can obtain a room night for
the same price that applies at any other time of the year. The same applies
to food, wine and everything else in town.
We like our visitors and we want you to come back and see us regularly.

accommodation operator's web site):

Kingaroy has a permanent population of
8000. This
means that the number of beds available in town at any time isn't all that
large. So if you want to be certain of your accommodation for the Festival
you should book
as early as you can.
But if you leave it until the last minute and find Kingaroy is all booked
out, there's a similar range of accommodation available in
Nanango
(20km south),
Wondai (35km north) and
Murgon (53km north).
Any of our region's Visitor Information Centres will be more than happy to
help you find a bed for the night. You can contact all of them by phone or
email.
You'll find their details on our site's Sponsors
page.
