September 7, 2009 - To help get Kingaroy into an even more nutty mood in the lead-up to the Festival, giant peanuts are starting to pop up all around town.
The cardboard cutouts are making guest appearances all over the place ... including in Shoppingworld, Burning Beats and in the foyer at the South Burnett Times,

Michael Monk ran into one.
Michael will be the MC on the day and will be looking after the
Ergon Energy Stage.

Also keep an eye open for Kingaroy's older papier mache peanuts which are also starting to reappear inside and outside shops.
These old guys and gals have been around for a few years but they're always popular with shoppers!
Ergon Energy's popular
Percy the Peanut is also getting a final spruce up for his annual big day out.
Ergon administration assistant
Bianca Green,
